Celebrating Our Volunteers – Volunteers’ Week 2025

Volunteers’ Week 2025 (2–8 June) is a special time to reflect on the incredible contributions volunteers make across the UK. At Goodwill Caravan, our work with displaced families, vulnerable children, and trafficking survivors is only possible thanks to the compassion and commitment of our volunteers.

From providing food and legal aid to assisting with shelter, education, and healthcare, our volunteers are the heart of our operations. Their dedication—whether on the ground in refugee camps or supporting us remotely—is a daily reminder of the power of community in action.

A special shout-out goes to Sajiv Vaid, Sumera Khan, and many others whose dedication and time have made a lasting difference to the lives we serve. We would also like to thank Dyna Fayez, Attiya, Samira, Sameens, Amer, Muhammad, Zain, Nadia Roesk, Saddiqa, Aisha Bashir, Irum Hussain, Injy Ghanem, Shameela, Raheela, and the number of marathon runners who helped raised funding for us in the last two years.

As highlighted by NICVA and the Volunteers’ Week, is a time to celebrate those who give their time to support others. At Goodwill Caravan, we are proud to work alongside volunteers who go above and beyond to bring hope and dignity to those who need it most.
